Julio Leal set for another test against Arrows in the Telkom Knockout

A huge relief for Julio Leal as his core players that missed a couple of matches due to injuries have fully returned to training camp including the fans favorite Andile Jali , this came at a very good time though his absence has seen the team struggling in the middle of the park where his dominance is solid by a huge margin compared to other players . His position gave other players an opportunity to make their mark but couldn't jell well with coach's intentions .

Other players expected to make a come back are : Roben Cloete , Daine Klate and Benson Mhlongo is also expected to be featured in tomorrow's starting lineup .

The match will take place tomorrow evening at 20:00 (venue ) @Moses Mabida Stadium .

Arsenal advance to Knockout stage of Champions League

Arsene Wenger's side is the only team in the English Premiership to make it to the knockout stage of the competition so far , despite their worse start of the season when they were humiliated by the Red Devils and Liverpool respectively who couldn't qualify to book themselves a seat in the Europe biggest challenge.

There are other worries though as Robin van Persie seem to be the only player for Arsenal who knows where to find the goal post , but Wenger is not too much worried about that as he insist that he does have a back up plan if by any chance van Persie fails to stay injury free though out the season.

Man City who were also the favorite to advance , are finding themselves at the back of the seat after losing to Napoli on Tuesday evening at Stadio San Paolo ( Italy) .The future doesn't look bright for Roberto Manchini's side this season as their last group match is against Bayer Munich who will show no mercy to finish at the top of the group. They depend on Villarreal to deny Napoli an away win , and will have to win over Bayer to stay in a competition .

Andre Villa Boas is also sitting in a non comfortable position . Chelsea and Valencia are both 8pts behind Luverkusen who are comfortable with 9pts on top of the group . They play Valencia on the 06th of Dec at Stamfordridge, of which is a must win match if they want to advance to knockout stage of the competition .

Pirates to meet Spurs in the Vodacom final

Chiefs have been knocked out in the Vodacom semi-final by their rivals Pirates in the derby match that took place in Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium ( Port Elizabeth ) last night . Pirates looked strong from the kick-off as Chiefs goalkeeper got tested in the early stages of the 1st half but Ndulula failed to beat S.A's number one in several occasions , Pirates didn't make any changes in the starting line-up that played Spurs on Tuesday evening ,but things started to change in the 2nd-half as Pirates came back very strong and it paid off with only 6th minutes played in the 2nd half , Tlou Segolela found the back of the net from a set piece played by Doutie to Cloete who placed a wonderful cross to find 2 Pirates forward in the box . Chiefs tried to come back but the solid defense from Sangweni and Happy Jele made it impossible to get them back in the match . I think Chiefs tried their best ,but Pirates were the better team in all department . "Sorry Khosi Sorry " .

It could have been a cricket score , says Sir Alex Ferguson

A weekend couldn't have been this great without the exciting games that took place over the weekend , but all eyes were on the Red Devils who faced Liverpool in Old Trafford yesterday afternoon . The match started in favour of Man Utd who dominated the 1st 15min that led Liverpool chasing the ball all over , but the strong defense from Carragher and Johnson kept the score sheet even , it was the Bulgurian that broke the deadlock in the dying minutes of the 1st-half and made it 1-0 in favour of Man Utd to break Liverpool's fans heart .
Nani got plenty of making the score unreachable , but couldn't find the net .

It was the same story in the second half with only 8 minutes played , Damitar Babatov made it 2-0 with superb finish and registered his second goal of the match . Liverpool tried to neutralize the game by bringing in a striker David Ngog and Agger , and things started to look better for Hodgson's side when they got the penalty kick as Torres was brought down in the 18yard by John O'shea, and Steven Gerrard converted and made it 2-1 , after that goal Liverpool came back in a game and Man Utd who were starting to panic due to draws they played in their last 3 in the Premiership , gave away the free-kick in a dangerous area. Steven Gerrard never made a mistake as he scored his brace from a long yard free kick .

In the 84th minutes ,again Barbatov made his maker by scoring his hat-trick for the 1st time since 1942 when these two sides met . It was a well deserved win for the Red Devils ,and a questionable statistics for Roy Hodgson .

English football was packed with plenty of action this past Sunday , with exciting matches that took place to end the season . As expected , Chelsea were three points away to give their fans something to cheer about , and did it in style as they humiliated Wigan by the biggest victory of the season 8-0. Elsewhere in England ,Man Utd did everything they could to defend the league of which would have been their 4th league title in a row and also the 17th Premier League title behind Liverpool who have won it 18 times than any other team in English football history. Arsenal who walked away with a 4-0 victory over Fulham finished the season in third position and disappointing results for Man City's Machini who's been looking for the club's first European appearance . Good news for Tottanham Hotspurs fans as their team made it to the last four that qualifies them for European dream next season . Batinez only has next season to change his tactics as his side failed to claim the forth spot in the English Premier League , and finished in the sixth position . that's all we had in store for this season , join us again on the 22nd for the biggest final between Buyern Munich against the Special One .

It was a big nite for Nyembula Lounge this last weekend , people were waiting for the big Vinni
Davinci who was suppose to be there on Friday evening , well as expected he didn't show up , I seem not to understand what's wrong with our DJ's , they always play hard to get .Many thanks to the likes of Kanunu and this white fella, who was keeping the crowd shaking the yard , the nite was beutyful , the attendance was positive and the damage was too unreasonable , I think that's what was keeping people drinking outside the gates , I hope next time the guys will try to be as minimum as possible with the price .
